This is a very special vintage leather that I came across a few years ago. It’s a pure vegetable tanned deer hide that was produced a small independent tannery in the UK in the 1970′s - 1980's. There is only a small amount of this leather left, so there is a limited number of straps available. Vintage Stag is a warm rich tan colour full grain leather that is beautifully soft and pliable. In my opinion it works best with natural stitching (as shown).
