I spent a long time looking for a black leather with a flat matt finish, but finally I found Nautilus. This is a pure veg tanned cow hide with a fine grain and a clean matt appearance. If you are looking for a low-fuss black leather watch strap, this is the one for you.
The strap photographed for this page was stitched with grey thread, but it also looks perfect with black stitching for a really stealthy look (being black of course it will go with any colour thread, but grey or black is my preference with this leather). Straps produced with Nautilus leather will be approx 4.5mm thick.
