This is a beautiful leather from the Horween tannery in Chicago. It is a fully vegetable tanned horse hide with a matte finish and bags of character. It’s very soft and pliable from the start, and will develop a lovely patina with some wear. If you are looking for something special with a vintage feel then this fits the bill perfectly. It really doesn’t get better than this.
The strap shown is made with dark brown stitching, but grey, emerald green, butterscotch and of course natural thread works well too. To see the options for thread colour see the stitching colours page.
Straps produced with Horween Nut Brown leather will be approx 5mm thick.
