Aegir is a leather I get very excited about. It is a midweight ox leather that is tanned in a traditional vegetable tanning process that takes many months before being dyed a lovely dark reddish brown colour. Aegir is very soft and pliable with a fabulous grain and makes a wonderful watch strap. Without a doubt it is one of the most interesting leathers I’ve ever worked with.

The strap shown is made with dark brown stitching and I think that is best with this one, but natural, grey, butterscotch & emerald green works well too.

Straps produced with Aegir leather will be approx 4mm thick and are priced as follows:

£120 with a free spring bar buckle
£125 with a sewn in buckle
£130 with a screw bar buckle
