Scarlet is a beautifully soft classic vachetta leather produced by a small independent tannery located in Tuscany. This small tannery uses bovine shoulders, putting them through a fully vegetable tanning process before “tumbling” them in a drum, producing a leather with this wonderful pebbled finish. Scarlet is soft and pliable from the start, and makes for a wonderful strap.

The strap shown is made with natural stitching, but butterscotch, grey and bright yellow also work well. To see the options for thread colour see the stitching colours page.
Straps produced with Scarlet leather will be approx 5mm thick.
