Ten new leathers just launched, plus the return of an old favourite

I’ve been busy over the last month since lockdown eased, getting out and about looking for new leathers to add to my website. I had a trip to a leather wholesaler I use scheduled for April, but for obvious reasons this proved to be impossible when the Coronavirus pandemic hit, and I had to cancel. Once travel restrictions were eased however I decided to make the journey, and I combined it with visits to a couple of small tanneries. I returned from my road trip 2 weeks ago with lots of exciting new leather.

Over the last couple of weeks I’ve been working to get them all ready for sale, and I’m delighted to announce that this morning I’ve added ten new leathers to the store pages. These new leathers are available to order immediately, and I have high hopes that you’ll like them.

But that’s not all. Although the purpose of the trip was to find some leather I haven’t used before, I always keep my eyes open and this time I managed to snag a couple of hides of a leather I have used before, and was something of a favourite with a lot of my customers – Dark Kudu. This is a leather that sold out last year and although I had tried to source more I hadn’t succeeded, so it was removed from my web store. Well, it’s back!

So, take a look at the new leathers, and let me know if you have any favourites. I already have a couple (Horween Essex and Vintage Black will be getting a lot of wrist time over the next couple of months) and will be posting up a review of them just as soon as I get some time.
