Available now - handmade, premium Panerai buckles

Some years ago I had some Panerai buckles made for me by a maker in Turkey. They were truly lovely buckles, and sold out very quickly. Unfortunately, due to ill health, the maker stopped producing buckles soon afterwards. Since then I have been looking for an alternative supply - someone who can produce a buckle to the same high standard, and to my specifications. It's been a while, but finally I think I can say that I've found that person.

I was keen to see the quality of his work first hand so I placed a small order. I've just received my first order of these buckles in 24mm & 26mm widths. They are made to be a copy of the original Panerai Pre-V buckle, with a matt finish, and with the OP logo and the word "PANERAI" engraved. They are made using 316L stainless steel, just as the originals were. I'm absolutely delighted with them.

The standard buckles I keep in stock and give free with a strap are of decent quality, but honestly these buckles are in a different league. They are the premium buckle I was hoping for. They are handmade, heavyweight buckles, finished to a very high standard with crisp engraving and an authentic matt finish, but they are not cheap. They cost me £30 each, and that's exactly what I'll be charging. I think they're well worth it. 

To be clear, although these buckles are modelled on the original Panerai Pre-V buckle, they are an independent reproduction, not made by or affiliated with Officine Panerai.

Those with a keen eye will have noticed that these buckles are sewn in, so can't be attached to a strap retrospectively. They must be sewn into a strap when the strap is made. 

I have just two of these buckles in 24mm and two in 26mm available, and I expect them to go quickly. If you'd like one, please email me at rich@toshi-straps.co.uk first to check availability (state the size you need in your email). They're only available with a strap, not on their own. If I have one for you, I'll let you know and set one aside for 24 hours for you, so please place and pay for your strap order within that time. Once your strap order is in, I'll send you a separate invoice for the buckle at £30. I make nothing on the buckles; my money is made in the strap they're sewn into. 

I will update this blog post as soon as the buckles sell out, but I expect these to be snapped up quickly, so if you want one of these premium buckles, please get in touch ASAP. They will be sold on a first come, first served basis, in the order I receive your emails.
