I hope you’ve all had a good Christmas. I’m back in my workshop this afternoon after a couple of days off, working on this Havana strap destined for a customer in Jardines en la Montaña, Mexico. This strap needs to be posted on Monday along with several others, so I haven’t had much of a break, but that’s OK because I love what I do.
I’ve always found hand stitching to be very relaxing, so spending the next couple of hours here seems a perfect way to get back to it after the indulgences of the festive season. You can’t rush this part of the process so I’ve put some music on and will take my time and make sure this strap gets done right.
