Lime is a very soft steer hide with a silky touch and in a great colour – perfect if you want a casual look. It’s one of my personal favourites and it looks amazing on a big watch. My preference is to combine it with olive drab stitching as in the photos below, but it works well with natural and grey stitching too. Metta is a veg tanned calf leather made with a diamond pattern imprint and treated with beech oil to resemble the famous deerskin leather found in the wreck of the Metta Catharina in 1973. It is a soft and pliable leather that I think works perfectly with natural stitching.
