As I’ve mentioned when I’ve written about my travels sourcing leather for Toshi Straps in the past, many of the leathers that I offer on my store page are special run leathers, i.e. the tannery produces a limited quantity as a special order, and production of the leather is not to be repeated. This is good in one sense because it means I can offer many unusual lines, but it also means that eventually I run out of that leather and it has to be removed from my website. There are a few leathers I’m running short of at the moment that will be removed from my site once the final strap is spoken for, so I thought it would be a good idea to let you know in advance – in case you have your eye on them for your next strap.

There are four leathers in particular that I am now running very short of – Olive, Almond, Sand & Mustard. I had hoped to find more of some of them during the trip I took in early June (and believe me I hunted for them) but I didn’t have any luck. I would therefore suggest that if you have been thinking of ordering a strap made from any of these four leathers it would be a good idea if you order as soon as possible – I don’t expect any of them to be available for much longer. They’ve all be quite popular since I’ve had them, and Mustard especially has been one of my favourites (I’ll personally be very sorry to see it finish), but I’m afraid it’s proved impossible to find any more hides.

For anyone reading this in the future and wondering if any of these four leathers are still available, you can find out by simply clicking on the links in the text above. As soon as the last strap is commissioned from a particular leather I will remove it from the store to prevent any more orders (and when that happens the pages the links point to will disappear). If it’s all gone when you read this, I’m sure there will be something I will have that will be of interest – you can see all of the leathers available via the store page.
