Happy Christmas from all at Toshi Straps HQ

It’s that time of year again! I’ve just got home from the final Post Office run of 2018, the last straps are on their way to their new homes, and I am sitting in my workshop celebrating the end of another year with a strong coffee and several festive biscuits (I think I’ve earned them). I plan on taking the rest of the day off to spend with friends, but before I do I wanted to say “thank you” to everyone who has supported me over the past twelve months. This past year has been a very busy year for me, but one I’ve enjoyed very much. Sitting here contemplating the last twelve months makes me realise how very lucky I am to be able to do what I do, and in such a beautiful part of the world too.

I find it hard to believe that it’s now been five years since I moved here from London. The transition to life in north Devon was difficult at first and some tough decisions were necessary, but over the last year I’ve felt very happy here and I now can’t imagine living anywhere else. One thing that is obvious to me though is that none of this would be possible were it not for the support I get from so many people around the world. I am humbled that so many of you like what I do, and I hope that I can continue to make straps that you appreciate for many years to come.

Although I won’t be at the Post Office again now until January 3rd I will still be working hard at Toshi Straps HQ over the holidays, so if anyone needs to get in touch I’ll be here. As always there is a lot of “housekeeping” that needs to be done over the festive period (both in my workshop and online), and of course there are a lot of you expecting straps early in 2019 which I’ll be working on. I plan on having a few beers to celebrate tonight though, so I’ll sign off by wishing you all a very “Happy Christmas”. Thank you again for your support over the last twelve months, it means a huge amount to me.
