Emerald leather - a new leather soon to be launched at www.toshi-straps.com

It may appear from the calm exterior of my website that everything is normal here, and I’m quietly going about my usual routine – but don’t be fooled. Ever since I got home from my road trip last week I’ve been burning the midnight oil, working my fingers to the bone building one strap from each of the new leathers so that they are ready to be photographed for my store pages. OK, maybe I haven’t been working until midnight every night, but I’m certainly working 12-14 hour days at the moment (mainly because I’ve bought more leathers than I intended to – completely my fault, I couldn’t help myself) and I’m keen to get them up on the website as soon as possible. It’s not a quick process I’m afraid, but I’m getting there, and I’m hoping that the first of the new leathers will be available by the end of next week.

I’ve just finished the first strap from the new batch this afternoon, and I wanted to give you a sneak preview because I’m really excited about it. I’m going to call it “Emerald” and it’s a wonderfully soft vegetable tanned calf leather in a deep matte green colour – fully analine and full grain. In the photo above I’ve paired it with butterscotch stitching, and I think it looks great. I hope you like it!

I’m planning to launch the new leathers in batches, with the first batch going live in the store sometime within the next 10 days. As soon as they are available I’ll let everyone know.
