Cyclone is a leather I discovered earlier this year and one I recommend very highly. It’s a thick, supple full grain buffalo leather that’s been available since the end of April this year and is proving very popular already. Personally I’m not surprised – it makes a wonderful watch strap and the colour works so well with a black faced watch.

I recently received some excellent photos along with a testimonial from a good customer after he received his Cyclone strap, and so rather than writing something myself I thought I’d let him do the talking. Martin is a Panerai collector who has ordered a number of straps from me over the years, and he’s also a professional photographer (you can see his Instagram feed here) so as always his photos are exceptional (and far better than I could hope to achieve). I think they show the Cyclone leather off perfectly. Thank you for the kind words and the outstanding photos, Martin.

“When my Cyclone strap arrived in the mail I could tell I was going to like this one. It feels like a high quality leather, the colour is just a little bit different and very well made. I immediately fitted it to my Panerai 233 and wore it for about 3 weeks. I rotated to my Panerai 663 and started to think about what the Cyclone would be like on that, it’s a different size watch, so I might need to get a second one! It is always hard to choose new straps, but I am never disappointed with Toshi straps.”
