Indigo is a premium leather crafted by a small, traditional tannery in Tuscany—an area renowned for its exceptional vachetta leathers. This leather is tumbled to create a classic pebbled texture and stands out for its rich character and craftsmanship. Soft and pliable from the start, Indigo still retains a satisfying weight and durability that makes it perfect for watch straps. It’s one of the finest vachetta leathers I’ve come across—elegant, hard-wearing, and built to age beautifully.

When I saw this leather I liked it so much that I bought it in two colours. If you’re after something bold and striking, be sure to check out Scarlet—a stunning, bright red companion to Indigo.

The strap shown in the photographs on this page is stitched with butterscotch thread, but pale blue, grey and natural threads work very well too. You can see all the options for thread colour on the stitching colours page.

Straps produced with Indigo leather will be approx 5mm thick and are priced as follows:

£120 with a free spring bar buckle
£125 with a sewn in buckle
£130 with a screw bar buckle
