As the name suggests, this is a full weight horse hide and has a beautiful structure. It is another Horween leather – vegetable tanned & full grain, it’s an oiled/waxy leather with a very light pull up in a gorgeous rich brown colour.
The strap photographed for this page was stitched with butterscotch thread, but grey, olive drab and dark brown threads will work well, too.
Straps produced with Heavy Horse leather will be approx 4.5mm thick and are priced as follows:
