I always ship using a “signed for” service so you will need to sign to receive the package. Policy may differ slightly depending on your country of residence (it is your national mail company that will make the final delivery), but normally if delivery is attempted when no-one is home to sign for a package, you will be left a card with information which will allow you to arrange a re-delivery on a convenient day, or to collect it from their offices.
