Regardless of the thickness of the strap, I always shave the thickness of the leather to around 1.2mm at the point of attachment so my straps will fit most watches. Some watches are well known for having very tight clearance at the lugs (eg. Anonimo and Bremont), so if you are concerned please be sure to let me know when you order and I will thin the leather slightly more than I would normally when I build your strap.
